Recently GM entered into an expedited, court-supervised process to accelerate the reinvention of the company. Bankruptcy was the only choice.  The business model and previous agreements proved to be too much to overcome without this action. I am convinced that the new GM will emerge even stronger by focusing in on the consumer?s need for safer, more fuel efficient, environmentally friendly and competitively priced vehicles. More importantly, GM will rebuild its reputation that Americans manufacture high quality cars and trucks that surpass their European and Asian counterparts. ?Built in the U.S.A.? will mean a stronger economy, increased job opportunities, and a renewed sense of national pride.

 

Cadillac is vital to the success of the new GM.  The new products and support that Cadillac will receive are exciting. In 2010, Cadillac introduces the Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon and the totally redesigned Cadillac SRX Crossover. 2011 and beyond hold promise of a CTS Coupe, a redesigned Escalade, and a larger sedan merging together the best that the STS and DTS now have to offer. GM will also concentrate on alternative energy vehicles to help the U.S. free itself from foreign oil dependence. This will help provide for its stable and sustainable success.

 

As a 15 year consecutive winner of Cadillac?s most prestigious award, Cadillac Master Dealer, we were proud when we received communication from GM recognizing Massey Cadillac as one of its key dealers.
